Could We Fund You?
Five minutes here could save you hours. Check both lists before you apply — and if in doubt, just ask us.
We fund organisations that…
- Are registered charities or constituted non-profit organisations.
- Are small and local: annual income under £1 million.
- Work directly with people facing complex issues and barriers — poverty, exclusion, crisis.
- Work in the UK or in our international priority regions.
- Have safeguarding and financial controls appropriate to their size.
We don't fund
- Individuals, or grants for personal benefit.
- Statutory bodies, or work that replaces statutory funding.
- Activities promoting a political party.
- Retrospective costs (work already completed).
- General appeals, endowments, or activities that make help conditional on religious or political participation.
